Every Wednesday evening, as teachers pack up their belongings and head home for the night, the classroom lights inside the Phelps Science Center begin to flicker off one by one. Soon enough, the entire building darkens, but only one light remains fully lit: PSCI 316. Inside, someone sits hunched over a lab workbench, surrounded by soldered wires and loose zip ties, fully absorbed in assembling a custom electrical board.
